EcoPhilly is a group of volunteers working with the Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia to help parishes, schools, universities, and local partners follow eco-conversion and sustainability, as outlined in Pope Francis’ encyclicals Laudato Si’ and Laudate Deum. Our group began in 2021 with the encouragement and blessing of Archbishop Nelson Perez.

On Saturday, March 29th, EcoPhilly will be holding its 4th Annual Summit from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Last year’s Summit was attended by 80 people from across the Archdiocese! Whether you are interested in starting a creation care ministry or want to share what your group is doing, we encourage YOU to attend. Come, listen, learn, and connect with others from the greater Philadelphia area as they share their challenges and successes … in advocating for federal, state, and city level initiatives … about conserving energy, promoting clean water, enhancing biodiversity … and more!

The event will take place in Harten Hall, the lower-level below St. Thomas of Villanova’s Rosemont Chapel. The address is 1229 E Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Ample parking is available. (The church is opposite a Sunoco gas station).
