Province VIII of The Episcopal Church will host the Creation Care Network Conference from September 25–27, 2026, at the Episcopal Retreat & Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Bringing together faith leaders, climate scientists, activists, and Indigenous elders, the conference aims to inspire communities to renew, repair, and restore their relationship with God’s creation.

A foundational element of this year’s conference is centering Indigenous leadership and honoring traditional ecological wisdom. Attendees will explore relationships of harmony with creation, moving from a culture of environmental disconnection toward a deeply rooted Christian and Indigenous call to care for the Earth.

“This isn’t just a conference. It’s a call to meaningful, grounded action,” organizers stated. The event serves as a critical launchpad to equip local congregations for environmental ministry and contribute directly to The Episcopal Church’s (TEC) denomination-wide goal of reaching Carbon Neutrality by 2030.
