God’s Plan(et) is an initiative of Catholic Climate Covenant

About

We’re All Part of God’s Plan(et) is a national Laudato Si’ awareness and engagement campaign to educate and inspire U.S. Catholics to more fully embrace and act upon the teachings of Laudato Si’. This campaign especially encourages Catholics–from families to parishes and from universities to religious communities and businesses–to participate in the Vatican’s global Laudato Si’ Action Platform.

In the U.S., this effort is organized by Catholic Climate Covenant, which has been asked by the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development to be the U.S. coordinator. The campaign also includes the support and engagement of many other Catholic partners who, together, are working on engagement, outreach, programming, education, and other activities.

Laudato Si' Action Platform

Caring for our brothers and sisters means caring for the home we share. This responsibility is 'essential to a life of virtue'"

The Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP) is a space for institutions, communities, and families to learn and grow together. You are warmly invited to join this community. Your unique “culture, experience, involvements, and talents” are needed on our journey towards greater love for our Creator, each other, and the home we share (LS 14).

The Laudato Si’ Action Platform empowers the universal Church and all people of goodwill to respond to Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’s encyclical on caring for our common home.

The God’s Plan(et) website is an initiative of Catholic Climate Covenant. Its central role is the support and implementation of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform (LSAP) across the diverse ministries of the U.S. Catholic Church. This website is in the service of our U.S. Catholic partner organizations and constituents and shared in a collaborative spirit. God’s Plan(et) celebrates the prayers, words, and deeds occurring across our community in the care for each other and our common home.
