Franciscan Via Creationis

Franciscan Sisters host a Season of Creation and Franciscan Jubilee Year celebration in Aston, PA

Join with the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, companions and friends in walking a prayerful, seven-station “Way of Creation,” reflecting upon the mystery of Creation and our call to love and care for the earth, all creatures and one another. We will begin at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Angels Chapel and process to various locations around our beautiful motherhouse grounds. At each station, we will contemplate the world around us in dialogue with Genesis, contemporary science, and Franciscan spirituality. The pilgrimage walk will conclude with options for personal contemplative time or small group sharing outdoors, in chapel or in the Copper Beech room. All are invited to the 4 pm Vigil Mass in Our Lady of Angels Chapel, followed by refreshments and social time to conclude our celebration.
