Peace for Creation Silent Retreat & Ecological Pilgrimage

Join us for a silent retreat to contemplate God’s love expressed through Creation, ending with a ecological pilgrimage and Mass for Creation.

he Season of Creation (Sept. 1- Oct. 4) is a time to renew our relationship with God, our Creator, and of all Creation, through celebration, conversion and commitment together. This year, as humanity faces the urgent need to care for our planet, we will unite around the theme “Peace with Creation.” Join us for a silent, contemplative retreat and Pilgrimage of Hope. For individuals wishing to participate in the pilgrimage only, please email Monica Hatcher, mhatcher@ccvi-vdm.org.

This retreat begins mid-day Thursday, September 18th  and ends Saturday, September 20th, 2025, in the afternoon.  Meals are provided. Accommodations include an assigned individual bedroom with a communal bathroom. There is an opportunity to join an optional Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation and a Mass for Creation on Saturday, Sept. 20. Please complete this form for further details.  Space is limited to 35 individuals. A confirmation email with details will be sent to the registered participants. The suggested donation for the  retreat is $175.00 (meals included).
